Will We Finally Be Rid of the Clintons?
I certainly hope so. Today is the day we can put an end to this never ending nightmare called “Billary”. Will she throw in the proverbial towel and make a graceful exit or are they going to have to take her down kicking and screaming?
There have been hints at the Clinton campaign headquarters that she is going to give it up if she doesn’t get the delegates from todays primaries in Montana and South Dakota.
The Associated Press today reported that,
The former first lady gave no public hint of quitting the race, and she has said repeatedly she might continue her candidacy even beyond the end of the primaries.
But her husband, former President Clinton, strongly suggested otherwise. “This may be the last day I’m ever involved in a campaign of this kind,” he said as he worked for his wife in South Dakota.
ABC News reported this morning,
WASHINGTON — Officials said Hillary Rodham Clinton will acknowledge tonight that Barack Obama has the delegates for the nomination.
As Obama and Clinton prepare for the end of the Democratic primary season, Obama has earned the support of two more superdelegates Tuesday morning.
He’s already predicted that many more who are publicly uncommitted will throw their support behind him over the next day or so.
Obama is ready to move on with the chore of choose a vice-president. Not an easy task for potentially the first black democratic presidential candidate. He may choose a conservative white male as a running mate, someone like John Edwards.
John McCain will beat Obama in the Presidential campaign, but it will be interesting to see just what Obama will do next. His in-experience will make McCain a shoe in for the position. It will be interesting to look at both of these candidates and quit focusing on the circus the Clintons have fabricated. Billary has been a distraction that’s for sure but now we can look at Obama for what he really is. More will be revealed the closer we get to the real election. Stay tuned.
